Brent was an absolute gem from beginning to end! We were having a large reception and had some initial concerns about space for so many guests. She offered some very helpful suggestions (such as using all three levels for our event, something no one had ever done before)…she put our minds at ease and helped us every step of the way with the booking process. Brent laid out her plan for our event and we quickly realized that this was the right venue for Amy and Phil! The planning process was fun and very helpful! Amy and I looked forward to each meeting with Brent…and she quickly became not only our Event Planner, but our new dear friend! Brent's suggestions, responses and advice along the way kept the timeline on track and helped with many of our decisions. She kept us up-to-date on our expenses, room layouts, linen options, tastings and menu choices (just to name a few) throughout the 15 months of planning. We left each meeting knowing exactly where we stood on the many choices made along the way. If I was to choose one word to describe the night of our event, I'd say "WOW!" Each room of The Grand looking strikingly beautiful and the staff couldn't have been better! It's always fun to see everything "come together" at the reception – the beautiful linens, flowers, table settings, cake table, tulle/lighting, band, photographer and videographer – our vendors all came through and everything looked and felt magnificent! Bobby and Jason were extremely helpful, friendly and professional throughout the night. The entire McHale's staff was beyond friendly – and was so helpful moving people from floor to floor, helping older folks find their seats, answering needs of guests during dinner and helping us pack up/load everything in our cars at the end of the night. The food was SO DELICIOUS – our friends and relatives are still complimenting us on the venue, food and drinks! The reception was SO MUCH FUN and we couldn't have been happier! Our only regret was that we weren't able to do it all again just "one more time" once it was over! I/we would ABSOLUTELY recommend McHale's Events and Catering to others who are planning an event of any kind! I used to plan events and know the many details it takes to ensure its' success…MCHALE'S NAILED IT for us!!! The food, staff and venue were far superior to most events I've ever attended over the years. Thank you to everyone who helped make Amy and Phil's wedding "THEIR BEST DAY EVER!"
