The Center, located in the Mercantile Building downtown, first opened in 1970 and was designed by Chicago architect Harry Weese. The space, formerly known as the Contemporary Arts Center, offers a unique setting and central location for a memorable event! Simply find a date and time that works for you. Once the date is confirmed, head over for your in-person tour. Our planners can’t wait to walk you through the space and answer any questions you have along the way. We ask that you please schedule your tour at least 24 hours in advance. Tours generally run a half hour to forty five minutes.
