Allison & Tadd
The Venue
The Gardens of Park Hills
How did your Love Story begin?
Tadd played in a co-ed softball league with his company. One game, there weren’t enough girls to play and one of his coworkers (who happens to be my best friend) asked me to fill in. The team went out for drinks after the game and we ended up sitting next to each other. One thing lead to another and now we’re married!
Tell us all about the proposal!
Tadd proposed at our home and then we celebrated at The Incline House overlooking the city. After dinner, we went to surprise some of our family around town.
What was your favorite part of the engagement and planning process?
We had an “Engagement Week” where we celebrated for the rest of the week going to different places that we had been wanting to go to. We had the best time eating, drinking, and celebrating!
Our favorite part of the planning process was looking at the different venues and all the taste testing.
What was the most challenging experience while planning?
The most challenging thing for us was keeping everything under budget.
Do you have any advice for engaged couples planning their wedding?
The day goes by too fast, so don’t stress about the little details! Something ALWAYS goes wrong but at the end of the day you’re MARRIED, so none of that really matters.
Tell us about your experience working with us!
Your team made our day stress-free. Between our initial meeting and our drop off date, it went about as smooth as you could ask for. If we ever had questions or wanted to come see the venue, Lindsay made it happen as soon as possible.
