We met through Jon’s cousin at a Bengals game. Jon was in a relationship at that time. Then a few months later he started working at the LaRosa's where I worked (single at this point) and we hit it off!
We were out shopping on a Sunday and on the way home Jon stopped at a park and we got out and walked around, then he proposed!!
Jon and I are both pretty laid back so that’s why we tried to make things as simple as possible. One big thing for us was to have a hotel close to the reception hall for our friends and family from out of town. (Also for those who would be drinking and didn’t want to drive home). We wanted everyone to enjoy our wedding and have a good time.
The most challenging for me was feeling the need to please everyone else. As we got closer to the big day, I realized this was our day, who cares what everyone else thinks? Also, don’t stress about the small things that may go wrong, you are probably the only one who notices!
Mostly by word of mouth. Our photographer had worked with my dad, our florist was a recommendation from a friend of the family, our cake was made by a family member, and our DJ had done two of our friends’ weddings!
