Oh-My Food Allergies!

It has been said, a time or two, that planning the menu is one of the best parts of the planning process. Of course! Who doesn’t like going to a tasting with tons of amazing food?

But.. you have people with food allergies and you want to accommodate everybody. Especially when you are paying per guest. So how do you choose the menu you desire AND accommodate all of your guests? Easy!

It truly is as simple as adding a line to the bottom of your invitation or RSVP card. Your guests with food allergies typically will tell you, but there are plenty who would rather not eat than bother you with another detail.

And while it’s lovely that they are thinking of you, remember you are paying for them and you want them to feel included and enjoy themselves.

When you give your final guest count, provide us with the guests name, type of allergy and their table number. Our amazing Chefs will prepare the meal in a special area of the kitchen to avoid cross contamination.

McHale’s staff is wonderful about food allergies, so rest assured that your guests will be taken care of!
